I'm so sorry to here about both of you going through this. My transposition was 4 months ago and counting. I to have ongoing pain, I would sugest to both of you if your dr is ignoring you or just always to busy to se you CALL A NEW DR!
I say this from expierence, I waited thinking it was maybey normal, now my arm is waisting and I for a good portion of the day cant feel from bicept down. I'm curently working with 2 new dr's to find out what went wrong. My dr also would not se me and pt said something was wrong. What your feeling could simply be recovery process but to be sure you need a dr that will listen to your concerns and help if they can. I am still living on percocetes just to function I shouldn't have waited so long but we all wonder if we are just impatient with slow healing or if something is realy wrong. Feel free to vent any time I'll listen...

Does the pain improve if the elbow sleeve is removed? If it does, take it off.

The surgery was six weeks ago. The initial post-surgical dressing has long since come off. This is one of those compressive sleeves to reduce swelling.

Those elbow compressive sleeves can put pressure on the nerve and aggravate pain. The only person who could tell is the patient. If a sleeve makes your fingers throb, the nerve may be getting irritated. Take it off and see. It could be too tight.
