Hi Kathy,

(I'll repeat here the response I sent you directly so that others in the forum can see it.)

Sorry to hear about your ongoing pain. You really shouldn't have this much pain after 3-1/2 months, so something is definitely wrong. Unfortunately, I've seen plenty of anecdotal evidence on the Web that pain may return after cubital tunnel surgery if you resume the activities that caused you pain in the first place. So perhaps that's what happening with you, or maybe there's another problem. Hopefully your doctor will be able to help you.

Good luck with your appointment. Please stop back here after your appointment and share with us how it went.

Kathy, what type of surgery did you have? Transposition? 3-1/2 months is a long time to be off work. Did you have other injuries or other serious complications?

After being off work for so long, it's possible you just overdid it. But it's good that you are seeing a doctor. Note that not everyone is helped by cubital tunnel surgery, and many times the pain will return if you go back to your old routine. You may have to make some changes in your work habits. Good luck with your appointment.
