I am in Federal Law Enforcement, and believe me guilty behavior is the same behavior no matter if the subject is criminal or civil. They evade first (your Doctors and support staff have shown that), then they if it has anything to do with records and the like, start fudging things or back writing paperwork. Hopefully you got copies of your surgical results right after or soon after surgery?
Another thing they do is give misleading or "non" answers - which also has happened here. The most common last phase is they start to disclaim your statements or try to convince others they know more than you. Don't back down. It sounds like you are on the right track with your new doctor(s). Keep us posted Sillyme.
