Similar to Zedcat, my ring finger (a tiny bit of electrical tender) is better. My piggy is slow to come back, but on the average, the nerve "heals" itself at a rate of 1mm a day. Tomorrow I hit the end of week 4 since surgery (elbow, hand and fingers), and today after playing a lot with my putty, I can feel in my piggy from my knuckle to my first joint. I look at it this way, my hand is bunches better than prior to surgery. After 4 weeks off for this surgery, I am allowed to go back to work via the light duty side of the house for 6 weeks to start. I am a law enforcement Officer, so being in a hands on, aggressive job, my surgeon is more conservative to say the least. If I were to develop this in the left arm, I would go through the surgery again. I am NOT 100%, but the level I am at even now, is TONS better than before surgery.

Believe it or not (based on some of the forums) I did look at disability retirement if the surgery didn't fix this. Fortunately, that visited topic will not be needed, as the status, ability of my hand is better than before surgery, thus JOB not at risk anymore.
