Re:Tinglin in fingers 1 Year, 8 Months ago Karma: 0
I have had numbness and tingling in my Fingers for going on two years, I have tried the anti inflamitory meds and trying to change the habits they may have added to my issue. I work on a computer all day long sometimes 10-12 hrs a day. The issue is in my left arm and I use the mouse with my right, so not sure if the computer plays a part.I am now having muscle pain in my forarm going on a couple months now, I am seeing the nuro guy on Mondya.......from what i can tell surgery may be a very quick option due to the lenght of my symptoms.......any input on this .thanks Clif

I'm on computer a lot, too. A friend saw a TV news story about how sitting all the time can cause compression of nerves in elbow, but he couldn't remember where he heard the story so I couldn't find it on the web. I've been thinking about getting a coffee table to put on top of my desk to raise my monitors so I can stand up while I'm working. Pain is definitely worse at the end of a work day & better on weekends.

Feeling is not gone but it is at a point where it is not bugging me anymore.

Very relieved that it is healing on its own. I was nervous at the beginning it would not go away by itself, but always felt pretty sure it would.

It was an interesting experience I have to say.

It gave me a lot of insight in cubital/carpel tunnel syndrome, that at first I didn't take serious.

Always thought it was one of those I made it up diseases.

What an awakening, I feel for those who have to live with this on a daily bases.

Thank you people for all your help and insight, may all your symptomps go away!

I'll be back when it comes back, good luck to all.

Wop

It is now about a year ago, the sensation is gone.

I consider myself very lucky. Whenever I hit my funny bone I get flashbacks to this terrible disease.

Happy to report that it healed by itself.

I think I was different then some of you. I never had it untill I woke up with a numb arm that would stay numb for about an hour.

Good luck to all of you!!
