Hi Brenda,

I might ask my doctor if I can try the lyrica if my symptoms don't clear up in the long-term. I don't have to worry about gaining weight because I have problems opening up my refrigerator with my CuTS hands lol.

I'm still not clear on the disc issue. If someone has a MRI report that says there is a disk buldge c5/c6, which nerve root is being pressed on?

I hope you get you get the feeling back in your arm again.

Cindy

Howdy Cindy!!!

Yeah, if your doctor feels that your pain is "nerve" verses some other cause. hehehe.. Glad to see the "side effect" of weight isn't an issue!!!

What exactly did the radiologist report say concerning the issues at your C5/6? The root is based on the "bottom disk" level - so you are talking the c6 nerve root. That puppy serves the top of the shoulder, biceps and the top of the forearm, and the thumb. Did the report say anything about it hitting a nerve root or the cord? Some folks have a "bulging" disk, and it isn't hitting anything?

As for my arm and feeling, thanks, I would like it to come back too! Thanks Cindy!!! Take care.

Brenda
