This afternoon I return to the specialist to get the results of my NCS/EMG last week and discuss treatment options.

Conservative treatment continues not to have any real effect other than keeping symptoms from getting worse when I have to bend my arm or while I am driving.

So I had severe latency across my elbow. Based on the results of the studies the doctor (who is an orthopaedic surgeon) recommends ulnar transposition. He performs both that procedure and the decompression surgery, so his recommendation would seem sound. It also matches my expectation just based on the rapid onset and continuous nature of my symptoms. Surgery is currently scheduled for the 6th, time is not set yet.

I checked back to verify which type of transposition will be done. It is subcutaneous.
