So today was my first session with Acupuncture!
First off I was very tense going in. The acupuncturist is a very good friend so i quickly became relaxed.
I have to say, I went in with a very fatigued arm and having tingles all day from working landscaping it was straining. I dont feel any symptoms right now.
She hit points along my legs, head, face she explained will help with nutrients and energies.
Then she really localized the nerve in my arm.
2 needles were right on the button along the elbow/ ulnar nerve and just after the cubital tunnel down my fore arm.
1 needle went along the ulnar nerve in my palm.
WOW is all i hve to say. I immediately started feeling pulses and tense flashes in my forearm not where she had the needles but along the path of the nerve.
She was very very optimistic that she can help me. She has helped many people with nerve problems including a stroke patient who had lost mobility in their arms.
Also, this is a very good friend of mine and I went for treatments at her house instead of her clinic so she is definitely not out to suck me dry $$. She also stressed the importance of proper diet and getting the right vitamins
I am going for 1 session per week for 4 weeks, then going for 1 session every 2 weeks after that. I am spending 40$/session and to be honest money is a irrelevant issue considering the consequences of CUTS.
