Hey all
Im right now 3 months post submuscular revision for a faild subq transposition on my left elbow.
The nerve pain is starting to settle down but im nowhaving problems extending my arm.
If i have my palm down and extend my elbow from the sholder straighting my arm I get poping at about 15 to 20 degrees extended. It is loud enough for some one sitting next to you to hear it.

If I put my hand over the area where the nerve is moved to, I can fell that area poping.
Is this a normal experience?
Ive had times where my arm just gets stuck and i have to force it to extend.

I have also noticed that if i raise my arm above my head and retract and extend it I do not get any poping.

ANy Ideas thoughts???
Im going to see the micro surgeon again who did the revision. Hope he has good news and not that im going to be stuck with this for the rest of my life.

Sound like the nerve is getting stuck????

Hey Webbie,

Are you getting any pain with the popping? How about numbness and/or tingling? I am 8 months post-op on my left submusc trans and 8 weeks out from my right. I haven't experienced anything similar. If it's popping audibly and you can feel it, it seems reasonable to give your doc a call.
