on my left arm i had swelling over the cubital tunnel and across the medial epiclondyle it looked slightly bruised at times.....nothing i did over the 4.5 months brought the swelling down.
btcat..
your symptoms from what i have read are the most similar to mine....how long until you felt normal, no symptoms? i think i read yours all resolved...
btw folks.....i am bilateral as well.
had subcut 3 23....im 3 weeks today and still have all sorts of symptoms.

It's still tender to the touch, but much, much better considering all I put it through. I can't say how long it was before it felt normal, because I broke my wrist 4 weeks into my recovery. Set me back by at least a month.

The surgical site is fine, but still a little numb superficially. The nerve is still somewhat tender and I think I still have some underlying tendonitis. My work is very physical. If it weren't for that (and the fall) I think I would be doing great. I would have the surgery again and never look back. I would not have the carpal surgery again.

I've heard that from others about carpal why was it bad for you? I've got a suspicion I may have that going on in my right hand. Your lucks like mine. I fractured elbow first and that trapped ulnar. Geeeezzzzz. Takes a lot of umph to work thru that. Jennifaux

My simple answer on the carpal is that mine was not that bad and they cut across you hand in a way that robs strength. I wasn't prepared for the amount of strength I lost (and, of course, the bad luck didn't help. To make matters even more complex, I got Dupuytren's syndrom from what the doc says was the extra blood flow from the surgery and break. Carpal is great for some, but I will put it off on my right hand until the symptoms are very pronounces.
