hey everyone! sorry i haven't been on in a while.. been a very busy bee! i miss y'all though..

i am completely over my left arm hurting right now.. it's a constant bugging pain running from my elbow down to my palm and little and ring fingers.. i've gotten to where i try to shake it off like i did before the surgery on my right arm. i can't even bend my arm for normal activities for more than two minutes and the pins and needles sets in. i took off my shirt the other day (woo! lol..jk) and looked at my arm and i had bruising around the elbow.. i know i didn't hit it on anything. can the cubital tunnel cause that? it's amazing how completely different the symptoms are on my left than what were on my right. i have debated with myself lately whether or not to call either my neurologist or surgeon. i think i may just do that tomorrow..

Not a doctor, but bruising tends to indicate some type of injury. You don't recall hitting your elbow? Like Wikipedia says:

"A bruise is an injury to biological tissue in which the capillaries are damaged, allowing blood to seep into the surrounding tissue. A bruise is usually caused by blunt impact."

It's good that you are seeing your doctor.

went to my doc today.. i go back to my neurologist on the 23rd.. not dreading it. i had such great results with my right arm, i know my left will be well taken care of..

Sorry to hear about the right arm, but probably not a surprise. Mine is heading that direction.

About the bruising, before my surgery on the left arm, I had some what looked like atrophy around the cubital tunnel and it was dark like a slight bruise probably 2" long and 1/2" wide. Don't know what caused it. It was right at the cubital tunnel. Hope your appointment goes well
