Going in for surgery tomorrow! 1 Year, 12 Months ago Karma: 0
Hi All!

Surgery tomorrow at 8:30am PST. The doctor is going to try just to do a simple decompresion unless he finds things are worse when he opens up the elbow.

Got my house cleaned and help for my 94 yr old dad all lined up. I am his primary caregiver so its been a major concern for me. I think I'm ready.

I'll let you all know how it goes when I can get back on the computer.

Phyllis

I pray your surgery goes well. I'm sure your pleased that your house is cleaned. I went and bought a bunch of meat and made meatballs and froze lots of chicken in baggies already cut up for stirfrys and nuggets. My surgery I think is on the 22nd. Still debating if I need it right now or not.

I hope your father does well too.

Waiting to hear how it goes
Cynthia

Howdy Phyllis, and welcome to the site!!

Please let us know how it goes. I will have my fingers crossed for you that "plan A" is a go! Glad to see you have your dad and his care covered - that I know takes a lot of stress off right there! Good luck!

Phyllis,

Cynthia brings up another very valid point if you haven't already done so... preset some food for quick preparation if you can. Having been through 2 "arm" related ulnar surgeries, and 2 cervical spine surgeries with more spine surgeries to come, the less physical effort your body has to deal with the better! Hell, even if set for some quick snacks is a blessing!!! Just thoughts to ponder as she brought up a very good idea there!!! Keep us posted!!! Take care!!

I had CuTs and Carpel Tunnel surgery yesterday. Some pain, but ok. Trying to type one handed. I made and froze all kinds of single servings of soup, etc. Good luck on your surgery
