There is NO way to avoid surgery that I've found
The pinched nerve will stay pinched until it is freed up

Maybe you can prolong the surgery but still with time and use, it will get worse

sadly, i just found out today that i have a pinched ulnar nerve
i had no idea that the recovery time could go on for endless months
