EMG/NCV did not show any impingement in the neck, but I did have an MRI of my neck before that was done & there was some disc bulging. However, the specialist I was sent to about that kind of blew it off as normal for someone my age & she said the shoulder pain was just tendinitis. She was going to send me back to physical therapy, but I asked my primary care doctor to order the nerve conductivity tests instead. It's a long story, but I think the first physical therapist may have made things much worse, so I'm hesitant to go back to PT. I'm seeing a massage therapist on Monday.
